On Thursday June 16th, the RUN Web Camp Uruguay will be held in the Telecommunications Tower of ANTEL. This is the most important annual event for professionals working with Microsoft platform in Uruguay.
The company will sponsor the event and will include a table of experts on Windows Phone 7, the new Microsoft's mobile platform, where the public could make questions about development techniques for this new platform. UruIT is currently implementing applications on this platform using Silverlight technology, migrating existing applications from iPhone or Android, and in the process of publishing the first application related to social networks in the Microsoft’s marketplace.
Asked about the expectations of the company with this event, the sales manager and head of UruIT, Marcelo López, said he will look for innovations and exchange of experiences regarding the new Microsoft technologies. Also be made to "share Microsoft's point of view over the global trends and enhance the company presence in the local market as a leader in developing innovative solutions with the latest versions and best practices of Microsoft products", said López.
In the context of BITS, UruIT managed to make contacts with European and Brazilian companies interested in outsourcing services from Uruguay, mainly over SharePoint platform, a Microsoft collaboration tool that has been gaining wide acceptance in Brazil and for which HR specialists are not enough to meet the demand.
