A professional team of UruIT began researching new ways of interacting with information and applications for business.
In this regard, it works on the Kinect platform, a Microsoft technology that operates on the Xbox video game console. It allows playing by using the body and voice, radically changing the way people interact with the information and opening up a range of possibilities to apply to business solutions, as Microsoft has enabled an API for developers to hack the device and take advantage of it.
The company seeks for work proposal applied to business, adding interactivity to applications developed by the own firm that can leverage technology to provide them with interactivity and improving users experience, for example for corporate presentations or navigation of high visual interfaces.
In the fieldwork, the company has developed an interactive application that allows users - in this case the UruIT team itself - to experiment a typical workday in the company by using gestures.
The company's goal is keeping pioneer in the adoption of new technologies. "In particular those that improve the user experience and add value to applications developed for UruIT customers in all industries. On the other hand, based on the current development, it seeks to evolve over time into a product that relies on this technology for managers to improve the quality of their presentations to clients and partners”, said the company’s director, Marcelo Lopez.
