UruIT was named Office 365 authorized reseller, the Microsoft's new product that combines online versions of the well known Office product family for desktop versions in the cloud of the new platform generation of communication and collaboration services from Microsoft: Exchange Online, Lync Online and SharePoint Online.
This appointment allows a customer interested in implementing a solution in the Microsoft cloud (Online Services Suite) to have the support and backing of a certified partner authorized by Microsoft to relieve the needs, choosing the right service and develop what is necessary to adapt the platform.
Asked how it got to be authorized reseller of this new product, the UruIT director, Marcelo Lopez, explained that it met the requirements set by Microsoft for marketing and implementation of solutions in the cloud. "One of them was training," he added.
By Office 365, the corporation will improve the productivity of its staff and will be unaware of the IT infrastructure because, among other things, this product enables virtual access from anywhere to email, documents, contacts and calendars in almost any device (PC, Mac, WindowsPhone, iPhone, Android, Blackberry).
It also works with a software that users already know such as Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint; provides a simple management console that allows IT administrators have control over user accounts, access permissions and deployment across the organization; has the backing of Microsoft, which guarantees 99.9% availability of services, and can easily scale in every way, adapting to the growth of the organization.
Currently, the company conducts staff training, pilots and proofs of concept on the platform. It also establishes the processes required to provide suitable support service to the new reality of this product. "We hope to be ready for the launch of Office 365 in the region, with primary focus on Chile, scheduled for the last quarter of this year," said Lopez.
