Self Service Mobile Application for iPhone and iPad

Throughout business partners in the United States, UruIT will begin working on a project for one of the largest companies of North America in regard to telecommunications.

The assignment is based on the development of an applicationfor both iPhone and iPad, on top of HTML 5 mobile development frameworks, which will allow the American company's customers to consume services from their own mobile device.

Among the features the application will include, the emphasis is on the local search by using GPS technology, the generation and tracking of service orders. It will also have other utilities such as self-help guides for solving problems and live chat, among others. As announced by the director and sales manager of UruIT, Marcelo López, due to the nature of mobile frameworks being used (JQuery Mobile and PhoneGap), the solution could be replicated easily for users of other operating systems for phones such as Google Android, Blackberry OS, Palm and Windows Phone 7.
