A team from UruIT specialized in WPF worked for 6 months in a prototype for a US based company.
The complexity of this project included extensive 2D graphic computing, WPF custom controls and extensions and Windows native OLE integration, among others.
Following an agile methodology, the team delivered a prototype to ensure that the ambitious piece of software can be built on top of WPF.
The actual development phase is about to start and will require the team to work with Mono as the application has to run either in Windows and Mac.
The product will also require a complex migration from a C++ code base, so the team already provided a flexible architecture through the use of several design patterns and best practices, to reduce the effort required for the migration.
