Ing. Marcelo López, PMP

Director - Business Development

Marcelo is a Software Engineer graduated from ORT University (Uruguay) and co-founder of UruIT. He has worked for international customers such us Motorola, American Express, Banco del Pichincha (Ecuador), Tata Consultancy Services, in both technical and management activities.

Having experience in CMMi Level 5 and Six Sigma organizations, obtained the PMP certification in 2008.

His experience leading and coordinating distributed teams across the globe, contributed to UruIT success as an offshore IT services provider.

Ing. Iang Yim

Director - Software Factory

Iang is a Systems Engineer graduated from the Universidad de la Republica (Uruguay) and co-founder of UruIT. He has more than 8 years of experience in the IT industry, and had the chance of working for some of the most important companies in Uruguay and USA.

During college he spent his time working with open source technologies, but soon after graduating got interested in Microsoft tools and frameworks. Having a deep understanding of the .NET framework allowed him to be part of the IT department at Motorola in Chicago Illinois for 2 years. During that time he was responsible for improving the use of .NET in one of Motorola’s biggest applications.

This experience also helped enhance his understanding of the North American business culture, which proved very useful in the following years when leading UruIT into the international scenery.

Interested in Agile development practices, he got a certification from Scrum Alliance in 2008.

Pablo Peralta

Technology Manager

Pablo has more than 10 years of experience on software development with Microsoft technologies, has been working with customers from all over the world (specially Central America and The Caribbean), including Microsoft.

Has been working as a Technical Manager in products for the banking industry, and specialized in e-banking, financial portals and SOA mission critical integration middlewares.

He has managed Architects, Technical specialists and several project teams in different organizations, achieving goals in a synergic manner.

Acquired many Microsoft certifications and keeps up-to-date with technologies such as BizTalk, .Net, SQL Server, and Dynamics CRM. Invests great amount of time updating with the latest Microsoft tools, and delivering presentations about these subjects in Microsoft® Uruguay as well as Universities and Training Centers. Pablo is an active participant in the Microsoft Community, also recognized as Microsoft Active Professional in 2009 and 2010.

Ing. Manuel Babuglia

Solutions Architect – Chile region

Manuel is a Systems Engineer graduated from ORT University (Uruguay), passionate for new technologies with more than 7 years of IT experience. He is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer specialized in Software Development Processes Automation with Microsoft technologies and Workflow based applications for the banking industry.

Participated in several projects for customers such as Banco Estado (Chile), ABN Amro (Uruguay), Banco Itau (Argentina), among others.

Ing. Marcelo Martinez

Account Manager (Americas Region)

Systems Engineer graduated from Universidad de la Republica (Uruguay) with more than 8 years of IT experience leading medium sized and geographically disperse teams across the world, for major companies such as American Express (USA).

Technical background in Microsoft technologies (MCP and MCTS) specialized in Rich Winform Application Development (WPF). Active contributor to the IEEE in the field of Random Neural Network for P2P streaming video scenarios.

Ing. Matias Delgado

Development Tools and Infrastructure

Matias has a degree in Software Engineer from Universidad Católica , and more than 5 years of experience working with Microsoft development tools and infrastructure. Holding a MCTS in SQL 2005 and .NET, has worked for development, consultancy and infrastructure projects for customers in US, Mexico and Uruguay, including CambridgeSoft (US), HSBC Bank, Botnia and Guyer & Regules (Uruguay), among others.
